SCOPE OF OPERATIONSDoc 002 / LTN

A full trading mandate, one accountable partner.

LICONA LTD is chartered for more than buying and selling. The scope below is the company's operating mandate — every line is something LICONA can be instructed to do, on paper and in practice.

  1. (01)

    Manufacturing

Where goods cannot be bought to spec, they can be made to it. LICONA commissions fabrication and assembly work against drawings, samples and agreed tolerances, with inspection before shipment.

    • Build-to-print and build-to-sample orders
    • Material and finish specification agreed up front
    • Pre-shipment inspection and conformity paperwork
  2. (02)

    Trading

The core of the business: buying where goods are made and selling where they are needed. Trading covers single consignments and standing arrangements with the same accounts, quarter after quarter.

    • Supplier identification and vetting
    • Price, lead time and Incoterms negotiated on each deal
    • Title and risk transferred on agreed terms
  3. (03)

    Import / Export

Goods move through Cyprus in both directions. LICONA handles export from the country of origin and import into the destination market, coordinating documentation so consignments clear without avoidable delay.

    • Export and import documentation prepared
    • Coordination with customs brokers and carriers
    • Origin, classification and value records kept on file
  4. (04)

    Wholesale & Retail

Volume supply to distributors, workshops and fleets sits alongside unit sales to end users. Both run off the same stock position, so availability is quoted from what is actually held.

    • Trade pricing on volume and standing orders
    • Unit and small-quantity sales from held stock
    • Consistent pack and labelling across channels
  5. (05)

    Supply

For accounts that cannot carry a stock-out, LICONA supplies against a schedule: agreed lines, agreed quantities, agreed windows, with substitutions put to the buyer before they ship rather than after.

    • Scheduled and call-off supply arrangements
    • Substitutions approved by the buyer in advance
    • Shortage notified as soon as it is known
  6. (06)

    Distribution

Goods are received, put away, picked and handed to the next leg. Kitting and consolidation are done before a consignment leaves, so a delivery arrives as one complete order.

    • Inbound receipt, storage and stock control
    • Order picking, kitting and consolidation
    • Hand-off to regional and last-mile carriers
  7. (07)

    Agency & Consulting

Where a manufacturer has no presence in the market, LICONA can act for them — representing the line, advising on specification and pricing, and putting the market's requirements back to the factory.

    • Representation of lines and principals
    • Market and specification advisory
    • Feedback from the field routed back to the maker

How a mandate starts

Send the specification, the part list or the market you are trying to reach. LICONA comes back with what is possible, what it costs, and how long it takes — before anything is committed.
